Bioelectrical membrane potential imaging using zebrafish [Saitama University]
Establishment of a high-speed membrane potential imaging analysis system using a zebrafish strain with introduced protein-type membrane potential sensors!
I would like to introduce the "biomembrane potential imaging using zebrafish" research being conducted at Saitama University. At the individual level, reliable membrane potential measurements can be performed in real-time from specific cell types and tissues, and potential applications for understanding disease symptoms and treatments are anticipated. There is no need for prior procedures such as dye injection in the observed individuals, and it is almost non-invasive, relying solely on optical imaging. [Results] ■ Neural activity in the zebrafish brain was detected through ASAP1 membrane potential imaging. ■ Successful optical measurement of membrane potential at the individual level and at both single-cell and group levels while the organism is alive. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
